Sunday Traditions

Since we've been married Josh and I have developed some Sunday traditions.  One of our favorite is making the weekly dessert, like apple pie!
The famous pie crust!
The best apple pie filling ever! (the secret ingredient is orange and lemon juice)
The pie before we cooked it :) there isn't a picture of it after because we ate it so fast!
My huge belly at 33 weeks pregnant!
Then there is the famous homemade chili, it's one of Josh's favorite meals.

Josh being the brave taste tester!

We love out Sunday rituals!

Put-put Range

Living in Logan, we often find that there is not much to do.  We get sick of seeing cow after cow after cow.  Trying to be a little less boring, we have branched out to find fun stuff to do.  Usually if we do anything fun in Logan our friends Eric and Sylvia are right next to us.  Josh went to high school with both of them and has been friends with them for many years.  I, on the other hand, have known them for a little over a year and I am glad to have them as friends.
A lot of times we have family home evening with Eric and Sylvia - since neither of us has a large family of our own.  That will change for us in about 6 weeks when little Michael finally gets out of my big belly.  I'm so excited to see him!  One family home evening Josh found a place online we could go mini-golfing.  We never even knew this place existed or we probably would have gone before.  The funny thing is that it is located right next to our other friends Ben and Carols' house.  We felt stupid asking the owners when they opened the place and hearing it was 11 years old.  We must be pretty cooped up in our house if it took us a year and a half to find this place.
We had a lot of fun playing mini golf.  The most amusing thing was watching Josh and Eric try to see who was a bigger dork.

As you can see they were both clad in golfing apparel.

On one side you have Eric thinking that we are playing pool and Josh thinks this is Tennis.  Oh how we love our husbands!

Syliva and I on the other hand know how to play golf.

I don't know how he did it but Josh ended up winning the game.  I honestly think that he cheated since he was in charge of the score card most of the time.  Eric of course got dead last; you just can't hit a golf ball very far while thinking it's a cue ball.  We had lots of fun and hopefully we can do something fun with our friends soon.
